David Alvarez Obituary
October 20, 1968 - February 27, 2013
David Alvarez, 44, passed away on February 27, 2013, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Amanda (Manke) Alvarez and his two daughters, Kaylee (12) and Aubree (6). David was born in Long Beach, CA, and grew up in Rossmoor, CA. He attended Los Alamitos H.S. where he starred in many performing arts productions and graduated in 1987. As a teenager, David traveled the country performing with the Young Americans, an international song and dance troupe. He had a successful career as a television actor and model. Later he formed his own web design company, WalkinWebStore, in Los Alamitos. David will be remembered for his generous heart, infectious smile and playful spirit. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his parents, Gill and Olga Alvarez, his brothers, Mark, Ronald, and Robert Alvarez, and his sisters Theresa Cruz and Patricia Turosz, as well as a large extended family and countless friends.
Services will take place on Saturday, March 9th at 12:00 pm, Calvary Chapel West Grove, 12832 Knott Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the benefit of his two young daughters: David Alvarez Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 8092, Laguna Hills, CA 92654.

"David you will be missed by so many great memories at Rossmoors Gym,snow skiing,Big Bear mountains, Playing softball and Langer Security for the Virgina Slims women's tennis tournament.
