Not sure what to say?

Jamie and Erin,

I am sorry to see your father has passed away. Hope you are all doing okay. We were unable to attend any services, so I was unable to personally say I am sorry and let you know I am thinking of you in this difficult time.

Mary and Family. Lisa and I were saddened to read of Dave's death. He was a very good friend of Lisa's father (Mick McConaha) and she and I remember him with deep fondness. Mick's son, Shane, met him many years later and Dave shared the fun times he and their father had together. What I remember most about Dave was his humor and the comfort he brought to many just knowing he would do anything for any one. May you find peace and comfort through family and your many friends remembering...

VERY sorry for your loss Dave was a good friend and we had a lot of good times in our early years. Bill Hildreth

Bill and family. So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Seems like Dave always had a story to tell to go along with his bright smile. He will be missed.

To all Dave's Family,
A heartfelt wish for peace and comfort in the days ahead.....
I first met Dave in 1960 when I moved to Mattoon from Sparta, Ill. and met my husband Larry. We had a lot of fun and memories during the time we lived in Mattoon.
The last time I saw Dave was at one of Mom Elliott's famous dinners when some of the out of town Elliott's were visiting.
Lots of laughs and funny stories of the Elliott's and the Alvis' each one trying to top the other. ...

Gina & Family,
Thinking of you today. Dave was a good guy. Peace and Love to you all.

We are so sorry for your loss. We'll keep you in our prayers.
