Not sure what to say?

I never met Dave, but I teach in his old room. I have been using a VHS of "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" with his name on it as my hall pass for a couple of years. I was curious and asked my principal today if he knew Dave, and he told me about him. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dave and I were born four days apart. We may even have high 5'd it in the infirmary back in 49. We hung out for 3 years at Pickering Jr High and another 3 years at Lynn English. May you rest in Peace. You will always be alive as long as you are remembered my friend. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Our sincerest condolences to you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to the Amirault family.

Growing up........miss you man.....been a very long time but I'll never forget you ..........now living in Colorado Springs but Lynn was our home..........

I am greatly saddened to learn of Dave's passing. I have been a friend of Claire and Dave for nearly 40 years. He was beyond kind to myself and my sister Janet; welcoming us into their home and supporting us through difficult times. Dave will be sorely missed by all of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
