I have such wonderful memories of his sense of humor and our joking with each other when I was hanging out with his mom and little brother back in our Hampton days. He was a great kid and I can tell that he grew into an even greater man.

Grant was the cutest, busy baby ever. He grew so fast. Every visit was a growth spurt. I remember when Forest came along. Proudest big brother ever.

To say Grant was amazing is simply an understatement. He was the most memorable and compassionate person on my swim team. He made me feel welcomed, he did not judge. He was funny and sarcastic... goofy yet also serious. I will cherish the Christmas cards, messages we share, and grand memories I have of you. Rest easy, Grant.

Grant was a student in my VCU Completeness class, and he was a force. He was fun and dedicated and lit up the room. It was a weird semester because it was Spring 2020 when COVID hit. But we remained in touch, and I just found a post card he sent me during the holidays that year that came out of the blue and made my day. Thank you for lighting up the world around you.
