I am comforted by the guestbook contributions here and the large number of David's friends I spoke with at Saturday's celebration. David was a man of great worth!! He was a remarkable man filled with the love of so many wonderful people. All of us who loved him back and valued his kindness, integrity, sense of humor and stability were the lucky ones. What a gift he was to all of us.

We just found out about David's passing. We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Being stuck in California, we knew him when he was a bit younger. My best memory is going to your house English Drive and seeing him asleep beneath the Suburban or one of the others of your fleet. That, and "preparing" one of your bunnies. It sounds like you had a great memorial service. I'm sure he'd appreciate that.

Dave volunteered in my unit many years ago what a pleasant man. I am sure he is probably volunteering in heaven.

i am so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. He was a wonderful skier and a real gentleman. He often stayed at the Outpost and we enjoyed seeing him there and sharing some good times with him. i will miss his gentle smile and warm demeanor. Carol Rush

So sorry for your loss. I knew Dave from water fitness at the YMCA and more recently Club USA. What a genuinely lovely man ... my sympathies are with you.

Dave will be missed by all who knew him. As one of "da boys" we loved skiing with him and sharing good times with Dave and Ann. Our thoughts are with Ann and the family at this time of loss.
