David Anderson

Dave was a stimulating colleague and supportive friend for the 4 years I was at CWSC in my first math job. I was in awe of his mathematical creativity and power, and always enjoyed discussing with him on a wide variety of topics.

Dave was one of my three best lifelong friends, and I will miss him greatly. He is the best mathematician I have known in my 60 years as a math student and math professor. Whenever I had a tough problem to solve, he was already ready to help. And when I had a problem with my house or car, he would always be able to fix it... usually by telling me to fetch him a tool, and by the time I returned with the tool, it was fixed! Such a kind and charitable person who went out of his way to help...

I am sadden to hear of Dr Anderson’s passing! I work as the Math Department as Secretary for many years. He was a great educator an a joy to work for. My condolences to the family!!

I remember David's kindness and integrity. He was a good example. He and my late husband Michael were friends who shared a love of mathematics, teaching and racquet ball. Sending thoughts of love and peace to the family.
