I am so sorry to hear about David, I was just on the telephone to Freedom Scientific and asked for him and staff told me.. David will be missed... To his family and friends, he was a great guy and loved helping people... Thoughts and Prayers...

The final memorial service for David was held yesterday August 8th, 2009 in Winamac, Indiana. It was a wonderful service followed by a feast of David's favorite foods and a bonfire where family shared stories and memories. I know Dave would be proud. Love ya brother!

david was a very happy person.I enjoyed talking to him when he was at the blind associates meeting...He always had a smile on this face,very polite and sweet. He was by far our favorite dart client as well.I will miss him and his smile. My heart goes out to his wife tammy.I'm so sorry for your loss.

I appreciated Dave's assistance with JAWS. I never personally knew Dave but was on the Leader Dog list also. I enjoyed his information and sense of humor, especially knowing of all of his medical problems. My condolences to Tammy and the family.

Dave's passing has deeply saddened me. A few weeks ago, Dave returned to Indy to provide training at Bosma. I am so thankful that we were able to meet in person once again and visit for a few minutes. Dave and I became acquainted in 1992, when I was one of his instructors at Bosma Center. We have been friends ever since. I am so pleased that Dave was able to find true happiness over the last several years. To the greatest older brother I could have been blessed with. He was a great leader, mentor, and play mate growing up. My head will be filled with great memories old and new. I had the pleasure of meeting some of his great friends in Florida this past week and a half. Take care to you all and God bless Dave!
