Not sure what to say?

David also played baseball at the YMCA. He was a pitcher. I hated to get in the batters box facing him because he threw hard and hit me a few times. He was a great guy.

I knew David playing YMCA baseball. He was a catcher. We were taught if someone is blocking the base to run into them hoping they would drop the ball. I had bad experience cause that didn't work. It was like running into a brick wall. wish I could have been a closer friend!

We love you, dad. Looking forward to going fishing with you again someday. We could not have asked for a better father. Christmas Eves, Red River, and fishing together were some of the best times in my life. I know you are watching over us now. Hope to continue to make you proud.

There is never a day that passes that you have not been in my thoughts, my dreams & my prayers. I will miss you forever. I still laugh thinking of your corny jokes, then tear up. I realize there's no more suffering for you, you are with Jesus. You remain in my & my families heart.

David made an impression on so many lives. He was a true Christian, always wanted to help people. He is missed.

I'm sorry I've taken so long to write a messsage. I was so sorry to read about David's passing. We went back to Longfellow Junior High. I sent out an e-mail out to the Jefferson Class of '69 classmates I had. Then a message was posted our class' Facebook page. Many people responded to both of these sharing their memories of David. Some have sent their messages here. Just want you to know what many wanted to extend their thoughts and prayers to David's family just as I do.

Mariana, I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how dissicult it must be to lose a younger sibling. You have such a wonderful caring heart. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry for your loss, he was such a nice man.

Who would of thought that the day my mom introduced us to David we would be welcoming such a blessing into our lives? My kids adored him as he taught them many things. He made them feel special and loved as he spent quality time with them fishing, going to the kiddie park or showing up to watch their softball games. David set a great example for my son for what a real man should be, and modeled for my girls what a husband should be in the way he treated my mom. I am so thankful for the impact...
