I had many interesting conversations with David, enjoying his wonderful, knowledgeable and creative mind. I remember David from my teenage years of sailing and teaching at the Castine Yacht Club (which he designed) in Castine, Maine. David was a brilliant, funny gentleman, and a highly accomplished sailor in his beloved Castine-built sloop, Fannie G. Rest peacefully at your heavenly mooring, David!
