Not sure what to say?

I did not hear that David had passed away, since Ivey Seright was not still in business. David was such a bright shining light whenever I came into the store! He will always be so fondly remembered by me ! With loving memory ~ Rocky

I last saw David at our local Democratic polling place. Always an easy smile and warmed my heart with every meeting. I wonder if they speak Ladino where you are.
I echo the entry Carl Beebe made exactly!
Let's go sailing next time we meet David, ok?
You are still loved!

David was my Hero!

One of the things that I could count on whenever I visited the pro counter at Ivey was seeing David's smiling face. He cheered up everyone and I was amazed that he also remembered their names. And I mean everyone. He was so amazing with suggestions and comments and went out of his way to get anything to me even on the tightest of deadlines. I miss those visits there and most of all I miss David.

David was always an encouraging, helpful, curtious, inquisitive, and informed soul. I was so often thankful for his warmth, acceptance and sense of humor. He had clearly found a solid place in his own life and shared it so generously with others. We were all lucky to know him.
The Pro-counter was home base for alot of hard working photographers. David was always there to help and not just with the film. He was always, and I am not exaggerating, a friend. My condolences to his family. ...

I have been reading so many warm and heartfelt tributes to David in the last couple of weeks. My sentiments and remembrances echo so many of them it is an acknowledgment to his consistent positive loving nature. I believe like attracts like and for me and obviously so many others being near the light of David was always a warm and positive experience. He will be missed to be sure, but the David that we all carry around inside us now is a David to share with all others that we continue to meet...

David was a gentle man with a friendly smile...I distinctly remember him as he would answer the phone at Ivey: "ProCounter, this is David--can I help you?" Those few words spoke volumes of him in his attitude of service to so many of us who needed his expertise--and maybe just to relay that information through him to the E-6 dept. to "Push 1/3 stop" so the job could get done by the deadline. And he came through for us, so many times. Rest in Peace.

Ellen, Leslie and Family,
My deepest condolences go out to you. David was a jewel of a friend and a wonderful mentor for me in photography.
I loved visiting your home, sharing great stories while "poppy" was running around. I am grateful for our friendship.

Our condolences to the Azose family and all who loved David, including Noki - we shall miss him as well.
