Not sure what to say?

David was a dear and close friend during all my years living on Hilton Head Island, 1978-1990. We met through the Jaycees and spent time together in many civic projects, notably the Celebrity Golf Tournament. Bright, analytical and diplomatic, David was a peacemaker among men and a genuine friend to all people of good faith. It was a privilege to know him.

Very, very sad news. Dave and I were good friends starting with our early days at Sea Pines. Lots of good memories shared with he and "Muscles" ;-). Sincere condolences to Nancy and family.

I have lost a great friend and former business partner. His attributes were too numerous to name. We shall all greatly miss him. Our condolences to Nancy and his entire family. Steve & Sally Gladden

Kimberly and DJ, I know your dad was always proud of you two. My condolences.

Nancy, so sorry for your loss. My 18 years of working with David were the best.

David was a dear friend during my early years working on Hilton Head. In all my life; as a student at Stanford University; as an Army officer for four years at Fort Benning, Georgia; and for 18 years as a Federal Administrative Law Judge, Dave was head and shoulders above most all the people I ever met and served with. God rest his soul.

Nancy, my thoughts and love go out to you. Dave was one of my best friends during my family's time on Hilton Head. He was capable, kind and caring with a delightful sense of humor. All of us have sustained a loss, but all of us are the better for having shared this world with him. Phil Lyman

Wonderful, wonderful gentleman. A joy to be around.

Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family.
