Archaeologists and friends: Scott Watson, Jay Hodny and Dave Bachman

Dear Pat and family: such a great loss for you and all who were blessed to know Dave. Jay and I share such fond memories of working with Dave at UDCAR. He was a wonderful mentor and colleague. May you find peace as you read the stories of how he touched our lives.

My condolences to the Bachman family. Saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with Pat when Dave was on his cross-country bike trip and remember how much we all enjoyed hearing the reports of his adventures. Professionally, I was thankful for Dave's thoughts and opinions while working on numerous bike/ped projects around the state. He will be missed.

Kindest regards & sympathy to Bachman family & friends wherever they may be. God bless 1 & all. Take care.

Pat, Megan and Corey you are in my thoughts and prayers. Dave and I worked together at PennDOT many years ago when he was the archeologist. He taught me so much, he always had that wonderful chuckle and twinkle, he inspired us all with his caring, hard work and diligence. I also remember that he would always place doing for family high on the priorities, whether it was preparing a new flower bed at home or taking Corey and Megan to sports. He was truly the kind of person we should all...

My condolences to Dave's family. I had the pleasure of working with Dave at PennDOT over the years, and found him to be warm and friendly, and very enthusiastic about his work. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Pat, Megan, and Corey,
Louie and I were saddened to hear of Dave's passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Dave's family, I'm very sorry and shocked to hear of Dave's passing. I had the privilege of riding the CAT bus and the RABBIT Transit with Dave to and from work. He definitely knew a lot about baseball and was always on top of the scores. He was a pleasant and friendly man to talk with and will be missed by many. All of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Cherish the wonderful memories you shared with him. May God Bless all of you.

Dave was a wonderful man and a friend that will be deeply missed. Through our sons we were fortunate enough to get to know the Bachman family. Our sincere condolences to Pat, Corey and Megan. Dave was a great supporter of the boys throughtout their years playing baseball and soccer. At the end of every season he would have a stack of pictures for our son. We will miss catching up with him at the Giant in Dillsburg.

You are in our thoughts and prayers, Dave worked diligently to raise the efforts of bike ped issues at the state level. He will be missed.
