Fr. you were a Wonderful friend of the Family and Your Mom and Mine were the best buds. When Mom and Dad passed you were there for our Family and used the family Bible for both Funeral Services 7 month's apart. It's been 5 years since you went to be with your Boss, our Lord. I can´t believe you´ve been gone 5 years. I miss your phone calls on birthdays and Christmas.

Father David was one of the kindest, most gentle and loving priests I have ever known. Even after 4 years he is greatly, greatly missed at St. Frances Cabrini.

St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale, New York will be having a Mass for Fr. Dave Baehr on Sunday, December 15th at 10:45 am. in remembrance of his birthday. Father Dave never forgot anyone's name and even our birthdays! Rest in peace, Fr. Dave...you will never be forgotten by the people of St. Margaret's. Love and continued prayers for his family, especially Sister Marianne.

We have never met a more understanding priest than Father Baehr. He was so kind, and was there for any one that he ever met.
We know that God has a special place in Heaven for him. We are gonna miss you so much. Sending our love up there to you.

I will miss his kindness and his ability to listen and quietly bring peace during Reconciliation and other Spiritual Guide meetings. Father Dave served our Secular Teresian Carmelite Community in Bradenton as Spiritual Assistant for several years. He also brought my aunt back to the Church at age 91.

I served as an Alter Boy for Father Baehr at St. Agatha's Church in Canastota, NY as a youth. He was a man that exuded love and made such a positive influence in my life. I will never forget his soothing voice and smile. This news brings me personal sadness but I smile at all the great things he added to such a mixed up world.
