Not sure what to say?

Dave was one of the most special people I have ever had the privilege of being friends with. He was kind, caring, compassionate and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will always be remembered and loved.

What a great man of God. We have had many wonderful experiences with Dave and Eileen. He had a way of speaking that always sent a message. You'll be missed by so many. Rest in God's presence and peace. Ann & John Gale

I have know Dave for over 50 years, meeting him first when I was a Freshman in High School and he was a counselor at IYPC (Poco). Through out my years we had many experiences together as Dave would preach at Marlton United Methodist Church, as a high school group of singers called the "New Creation" we would perform at Ranch Hope, as Dean of IYPC, Dave came up one year and served on faculty with us and I even was an invited speaker to the boys at Ranch Hope on year. Recently, Dave & Eileen...

When he was a Pastor at Pitman UMC, in the early 60's, I was in the Youth Group there, So many memories of him and his little VW Bug going to Hymn Sings every Sunday nite after Youth Group! Attrending Summer Camps, The Camp Meeting in town and just to be in his presence made the world a better place that you wanted to be a part of. I have followed him all these years and re connected at SeaVille Camp Meeting a few years ago with a dear friend that summers there. He remembered me and my...

Reverend David L. Bailey Sr. A giant among men blessed by God with the gift of storytelling and a talent for knowing what to say to uplift the spirits of those around him. I was twice blessed by God to have graduated from the Ranch Hope program, and to have known him as a child prior through my parents involvement with the Hope Travelers. Rev. Bailey was not satisfied to merely help me complete the Ranch Hope program successfully, but stayed in touch with me over the last thirty years...

Where to begin.?. Dave has been a good friend of our family for many generations! I think one of the most cherished memories my husband and I have is when he first introduced himself to Cornerstone (my husband was the drummer) in a typical Dave Bailey comedic way back at the Christian Admiral in Cape May - once that relationship was established it was years of back and forth fun and games with the Gospel of Jesus the first and foremost part of both our ministries. Till we meet again in...

Dear Eileen and family, We are sorry for your loss. Knowing Dave for many years, we are sure he is in the presence of His Lord. Prayers to all the family in this time of grief.

David was a wonderful friend, minister, all around great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. We went on bus trips and retreats with him and Eileen and always came back feeling refreshed and recharged. He will be missed beyond words. Dave was a legend that will not be forgotten and Eileen will be in many prayers. Love and Prayers Elizabeth Scharr

Rev. Bailey has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I met my husband through sounds of hope and ever since I have been blessed to count him as a friend and guide. I had heard him preach many times at Pitman and Richwood but did not get to know him until I met my husband.I have been blessed to come to know him at South Seaville and I will surely miss his Labor Day weekend preaching.
