A very dear man with an irrepressible life force, a wonderful musician with a caring heart, has left us. I knew Dave since the late 1990's and performed with him on several occasions. I will never forget him, especially since he played for my father shortly before he died of Alzheimer's in 1998, playing all the tunes on the accordion that my father would have played clarinet solos on, many years ago.
