David W. Baird

My husband and I heard about the Consumnes Bird Preserve from David. We had never been there. One day we decided to go for a walk and thought we would check it out. It has now become one of our favorite places to walk. Every time I go there, I think of David.

Dear Anne and family,

David was a gentle hero among all those I worked with in the court system. He was always so generous with his support and kindness. Getting him to break into one of his wide-faced grins was always a challenge, but a worthwhile mission.

Sorry this is so late, but I was away for a few days.

Dear Anne, When Shellynne called me to tell me of David's passing, I was terribly saddened. You and David have always been such delightful people. I know Shelly and Chris feel very close to you. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. God Bless you and your family.

When I made up Rotary on Mondays, I sought out David for his positive and contributory outlook. I appreciated him as a Lincoln cross country dad. Love to you as you continue on as David would want.
