David Bakewell

I worked with David in the early 1960s at Adair AFS, Corvallis, OR. Considered him a good friend.

From the late '60s in Neu Ulm Germany, David was determined to locate friends from times gone by. He used the internet to locate us in San Jose CA some 30 years later to let us know of an upcoming reunion that we attended. We were in contact with David often since that time with email. Never to be forgotten we will miss a true friend indeed.

David-San and I had many happy days while serving at Adair A.F.S., in Corvallis Oregon. I was blessed to have a friend like him. I pray that God has mercy on him and welcomes him into His Kingdom with open arms. Rest in Peace dear friend, it was my pleasure to know you and serve with you. Peace.

We were friends from Adair AFS, Oregon. He was a knowledgeable and compassionate person. His former military comrades will miss him.

We've known Dave of Phoenix, as he described himself, long enough to appreciate his great affinity for, and knowledge of, family. We are thankful for the many bits of information he shared and all of this will be greatly missed.
