Read MoreI am sorry for your loss. Dave was chair of the Politics and Government Department when I was hired to teach there. His kindness and gentleness helped to make the place work for me. I got sick my first year, and Dave's advocacy helped me to get through. He was a good man.

My condolences in the passing of Rusty. I went through Catholic school and Lompoc High school with him. I am glad I had a chance to talk with him at the 50th class reunion of the class of 1968 from Lompoc High School. He was definitely one of the good guys.
