He was a loyal friend, steady, good-natured, passionate, and devoted to his family, his friends, his home town and especially as I remember him, baseball. He knew and loved the game. I can see him now stopping to watch the Auburn entry in the NYP League as he hawked his wares in the stands at Falcon Park. I have treasured his friendship, our long-standing mutual love of your family.
