David Bales, David Wagner, Gary Hill, and Bart Bennett ... my closest friends growing up in Maitland/Winter Park in the 60s and early 70s. All past away. All cherished for their friendships and influences. My love and condolences to the Bales family.

I will always smile when I think of David! He was a friend to everyone he met. When I think of David, I remember Old Winter Park - the old high school, the bookstore, Harper's Tavern. He was a gentle, gentle soul who would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. Mary, Jack, and David are in our thoughts and prayer.

have a beer with Bart Bennett tonight's!

I would like to send my condolences to David's family. He was a great man. He was always positive and level headed. He will be missed. I am fortunate to have been able to call you my friend. R.I.P. David.

I'm sorry for your loss. May God give you the strength to endure until His promises are fulfilled.
Isaiah 35:5,6

Dave was my employer for over 15 years but more than that he was a mentor and a friend. His heart was even bigger than his stature. He helped out every soul who crossed paths with him. He made me a better man, father and overall human being. He was so tough I just assumed he'd somehow beat this. I'm so sad I was wrong. You will be missed and never forgotten. Chris Gagne

Mary - my heartfelt condolences to you, Jack and David on Dave's passing. Each time I would see Dave, he was always so funny. His tremendous love and joy with you and the boys were evident every time he looked at you. I'm so sorry for your loss and please know how much you all are loved. May God bless each of you!

David was one of the more colorful characters in our class and it was an honor to have known him. It's wonderful to know that he kept that humor in his heart until his passing. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.
