Mr. Banik was a great person and teacher. I learned a lot from him and I'm grateful to have known him and to have to learned a great deal from him. The world lost a great person may he Rest In Peace. Thoughts and prayers go to his family.

Dave you were an inspiration in my young life as a powerlifter and will never forget the times we spent together. We will always be brothers of iron forever and a part of you will always be instilled in me for as long as I live. I will see you in heaven soon...

Mr Banik was such a great teacher, he made it fun to be at school. It was always nice to see his smiling face in the first floor hallway on my way to homeroom every morning. He was one of my most memorable teachers, I can almost hear his voice, the way he would always answer any silly questions from his students with a "maybe" or "sometimes". May he rest in peace.
