David Barnette

Dear Marian, Chris and Family,

We were so sorry to read about David. I will fondly remember him on his trips to Morris with your family. We will miss his smiling face in our midst.

I was very fortunate to have met such an amazing man. I didn't know him very long but I know he was a wonderful man because of the family that surrounds him. I am blessed to have been a part of such a wonderful family (Dave, Karen, Jen, Jess, and Obi). My positive thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and always. I love you guys..

I'm so sorry. My heart aches for you today, I will pray that you can somehow find peace through all of this. Always remember what a wonderul man your Dad was and all that he has left for you to carry on with. I don't know that I have ever met a Dad who was more proud of his family then your Dad. We met Mr. and Mrs. Barnette several years ago on their visits to their son, David, his wife Karen and their children, Jen and Jess. We got to know them at high school basketball games, school graduations and family events as they supported their granddaughter's achievments and celebrations. Everytime we saw them, we were welcomed as family. We will miss Mr. B's warm smile, big hugs, positive outlook and twinkling eyes. We were blessed in having known such a fine man. Dear Marian and Family,

David was such a lovely man ... and oh so pleasant! He was never without a smile and always had a kind word for everyone. Even when I would call him at all hours of the night and early morning to come in and sub at West Essex he answered the phone as though he was just sitting waiting for my phone call. A call to the Barnette home was always my favorite and easiest in my (almost) never ending quest for subs to come in and spend the day at West Essex....

To Mrs B and all the family: It was sad to hear of Mr B's passing. My prayers are with you all.
