Not sure what to say?

Dave was always a co-worker I looked up to. He was a professional in all he did. So sorry for the family's loss.

Janet - Tom & I are sorry to hear of Dave´s passing. I´ve thought of both of you often since you moved. You were great neighbors! I remember when you had the "talking pumpkin " on Halloween - Eric sure loved that! The neighborhood has changed and we miss you, Bany´s, and Minor´s. Hugs & love ~ Yvonne

Dear Jan, God bless you and all your dear family. And God bless Dave. He was a great gift to all of us, as the obituary stated so well. It´s hard to believe he´s gone. Know that he and all of you will be in my prayer. Peace, Fr. Tom

Condolences to Dave's family. Have not seen Dave since moving to Holt and left Queen's Parish and also left teaching in Jackson. He was always a gentleman and honest man, sorry to hear this news.

Mrs. Barrett & Family, Deepest Sympathy and continued thoughts and prayers. Mr. Barrett assisted our family a few times over the years with his caring & wise advice. Georgia (Stellingworth) Stessman & Family

I had the privilege of ministering with Dave for many years at Queens church. He was caring and inspiring to all. Our sympathy to Dave´s family and friends.

Dave and I shared a small office in my first year of full time employment at Queens back in 1984. He was an especially kind mentor who served as a wonderful example to all who knew him. He was thoughtful and encouraging to friends, coworkers and strangers alike. He leaves behind a rich legacy of service through his professional career in education and in his giving of time and talent in Christian ministry. He will be missed but long remembered! My deepest sympathies to Jan and the rest...

Dave and Janet were great neighbors. We frequently had little conversations across the picket fence. They always had a friendly greeting when seeing them in public. When our house was being built, he took pictures as a log of progress and presented us with an album when we moved in. I was one of the fortunate one's to get that fantastic scone recipe!

Legacy indeed, no finer man ever lived. I attribute my conversion to the Catholic faith directly to deacon Dave and many , many conversations during RCIA. God truly blessed us all by loaning us this man for 95 years. My sincerest condolences to Jan & his entire family. Rest in peace, kind sir. Denise Glover
