David saw my acquired interest with brass and we would talk about various pieces that I had or he had in the shop awaiting work. I am really glad that his son, Patrick, has taken over and keeps the family business going.

We knew David and his family through Hillcrest Elementary. They were great representatives of the downtown Orlando community. A great idea for the Mike Rowe Works Foundation. Our sympathies. The Smiths.

David was a genuine craftsman. Only perfection was good enough! He would repair and restore many holy hardware items for me, when I was Rector of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Apopka. Im so sorry for your loss. David was my neighbor on Celia Ln when I was a teen in the 1970s. He was a great guy. He gave me his old Volvo which got me to and from UF in Gainesville to Orlando. I have thought of David often over the years. My thoughts are with you and your family David.

My condolences to David's family. I was a long time, 35+ years, customer and I always enjoyed visiting with David. He was a sincere gentleman, courtesy, funny, knowledgeable, a delight with whom to spend some time. He will be very much missed.
