Not sure what to say?

I loved working for him and Mrs Bayne! I drove many trips to and from California to Carolina! They were very good employers!

Im sorry to hear about Mr. Bayne. Some of my best memories of trucking with my dad is when he had his Mack leased to Carolina Western Exp. My dad always spoke fondly of mr Bayne. I still have a copy of a trucking article from the early 70's that features a picture of him standing beside truck # T-130 & a great write up about the company. Those new cabover Pete's were beautiful.

You and David were the best bosses in the world, we enjoyed working for both of you. Not only were you great people to work for you were and are very Special to us!
Our prayers and sympathy to you and the family.
We were and still are very proud that we were fortunate enough to work for the greatest company in the Trucking Industry; Carolina...

David you were a very special person, friend and boss. I was never as proud as I was the day you hired me @ Carolina Western Express. To drive the best equipment and have such a wonderful experience working for you is greater then words can express. The reunion I put together @ Kings Mountain State Park ment so much when I saw a tear in your eye that all the drivers showed up and all because of YOU. We all loved you David and I know you are driving Old truck 120 across this country right now...

We were so sorry to hear of David's passing away. I will never forget the kindness and thoughtfulness of both of you.
May God comfort you in this hour of sadness and place his arms of Love around you and your family.
Sincerely;

David and his father Mr "R E" were dear friends of my dad Ernest Williams who drove with David and for Mr "R E". Some of my best childhood memories are of Their yard and shop on McConnell rd at Franklin Blvd in Greensboro NC. As a young boy I would watch in awe as they would take the trucks apart and put them back together right before my eyes. In his old age my father would speak of his friend David often and his favorite trucking story was when he and David left Sanford Fl with a load of...
