Wanda, I was away when Matt called to tell me about Dave, or I would most certainly have been at his funeral to pay my respects. I am so sorry for you. It was apparent to me that you and Dave had a great marriage from the start. He loved you a great deal. He was a good friend to all of us at Clinchfield and he was, as others have said, excellent at his work. I hope your fond memories of times together will now help to ease your suffering somewhat.

Although I hadn't seen Dave in the last 10 years, I'll always remember him as an engineer that loved his job and took it seriously. Dave will be missed and fondly remembered by many.

I knew Dave for the many years that he worked for Clinchfield at the Dante, Va office. He was always very professional at his job which made him a pleasure to work with. Dave was missed when he retired and I am sure he will be missed in life. My condolances to the family on your loss. You will be in my prayers.

Worked with Dave in the mining industry for several years. Was a true professional and a very nice individual. My deepest sympathy to your family, lovedones and many friends..you will be missed by all!
