Budlo….

I remember you fondly as a great skier and glende jumper, you sure could fly. Though I only saw you once at Hebgen Lake after you had moved to Gunnison, I thought of you often. Bozeman hatched many true spirits, you were one of the best my friend. I offer my sincere condolences to the family for this loss, Dave was a remarkable person.

Budlo...oh the times we had. Even though we were the same age you were like a big brother to me. You taught me to ski, you taught me to ride horses, and you made this dorky kid with low self esteem feel cool. You made my life better Dave. Gary Berndt

I've been wanting to meet up with David again soon. This is so sad. I grew up with David. When I first met him, they lived at the end of south Black but shortly after moved to the Springcreek home. I also have fond memorys of riding horses with David. Especially when We hooked up his wagon to one horse, Misletoe, and my brother went with us cause he was 3 years older, but we rode up Bear canyon, way up Bear canyon to camp for the weekend. Then there was the skiing, we skied together a lot...

Hard to believe you left us so early. I will always remember your great smile. I lived down the street from Cathe and her very large entourage! My folks and yours were friends as well. So sorry we won't have the chance to meet again at the reunion. My best to all of the family. David was a memorable part of our class of '74.

David,
I will will miss you. We were friends for almost 55 years. I will have great memories. Steve Christian
