My deepest sympathy to the families of my buddy Dave. The many years we worked together, we argued about everything. But I always respected his intelligence, his loyalty and his wit and sense of humor. He made me laugh until my cheeks hurt and gave me a big bear hug when I shed a tear. He was at my side when he thought I was right and a crocked smirk when he knew I was wrong. Dave was and always will be my friend.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry to learn of David's passing. Much love and condolences to Dave's family, and to the whole Begins family. Dave was an intimidating player as a high school soccer player at Mount Mansfield, and I got to know him much better playing soccer with him at Vermont Tech - he and Preston Tuthill made a fearsome physical force as the backbone of our defense. David was a good guy and will be missed. Rest in Peace, old friend.
