Mr. Benavidez,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Bernardo was my uncle and I remember him from the days when I was a child. What I remember when I was a kid was his pink and gray car and his station wagon...and I remember he always had an office job. I visited with him last month and I am sorry to know that another life has completed its circle. God bless you my cousins, and take comfort that he is with your mother and brother, along with my son.
