Condolences to the family of David Benegas who continues to be misses

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dave and Mary were the best counselors, travel pros, dinner companions and friends that one could be lucky enough to have met. Their genuine love and concern for people was always in abundant supply as was their assistance to those who had less. I shall treasure all their stories, laughs, conversation and sound life advice. They made Chicago always home for my family even when we moved away. Our deep felt condolences to David and Mary's daughters and grandchildren. They spoke of you a lot...

We have known David through the Jefferson Park Library Book Club for about 5 years. He was knowledgable, wise, cheerful and a generous listener. Plus, he often brought treats to share.

He is going to be truly and very much missed.

On behalf of the staff at Jefferson Park library, we will all miss David and send our condolences.

Dave and his late wife, Mary, were dear friends of ours and part of the Dirty Thirty from Alvernia High School where our daughters went to school. The Dirty Thirty was a core group of parents who were involved in all the fund raising events of the school did did all the dirty work that was involved. Dave and Mary both, were very active and helpful in all of these events. Thirty some years after the school closed we still got together at least once a year, and when they were at our house,...

Dave and I were classmates at Wilson Jr. College From 1953 to 1955. We were also best of friends. Dave was the brains and I was the one that got us the girls. It worked out great. Unfortunatly we went our seperate ways. I always wondered how he was doing.

So sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful neighbor when I was growing up. I have fond memories of him. Karen, Linda and Marcia my deepest condolences on the loss of your dad

Dave was a kind, gracious, generous person. Having gone to church with him and worked with him at many, many events brings back great memories. Whether we were in the kitchen, decorating or painting walls, we always had a lot of fun. Conversations with him and Mary were always intriguing. This is one family that will always be remembered in the highest regard as a truly God following family.
Blessings of comfort to his family he spoke highly of all of you.
