David Warren Berends

I worked with this wonderful guy for many years through WGVU as he scheduled our captioning services. There was none better to work with. I am shocked and saddened by his death. He will be missed. My sympathies to his family.

I sure didn't expect to see this today. Dave and I go back a long way since our fathers were great friends years ago, and friendly competitors later on for many years.

Due to the current and projected bad weather between Suttons Bay and GR I am so sorry I will not be there today to pay tribute to my children's and my dear friend David Berends. The love, concern, and loyalty Dave showed us over the years made a significant impact on all of our lives. We love him. He will be missed but not forgotten

Enjoyed playing golf with Dave during the summer's over the years. Just an all around great guy. My condolences to his family and friends.

So happy we were able to have Dave as a guest to our cottage on Lake Mitchell. It was fun listening to the good times he had on the lake in prior years. You were such a nice person and we are glad to have known you.
