Not sure what to say?

You do not know me. What a blessing to have the testimonies of Holocaust survivors like Mr. Bergman. We have to keep these experiences/stories in front of all of us. Especially now. Thank you Mr. Bergman.

Many years ago I came across your husband, father, and grandfather's story while teaching my 6th grade students about the Holocaust. For eleven years now, we have listened to him tell his story and for eleven years, we have wept. He touched lives that he never knew existed. His legacy has impacted so many and will be remembered for years and years to come. We did not realize that he passed away and it was through a student's desire to learn more that we learned of his passing. Our...

Mr. Bergman will be dearly missed, my deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends.I did not know him extremely well, but he still made an impact on my life. He was a good man that had been through so much, yet somehow, he made it his goal to smile and make everyone else around him smile .I will miss his little jokes and his optimism about life. Rest in Peace David.

Getting to know David has been one of the highlights of my life. It has been an honor to work with him on his writing project, but an even larger honor to call him my friend. I always enjoyed my visits with him when I lived in Florida. I will truly miss his jokes, and the way he always made me laugh. His family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sharon, Aaron and Laurence please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of David. He was an exceptional person!!!!!!

David and I were able to view the funeral via internet!!!!!!! Aaron's eulogy was beautiful and we know that David would have enjoyed the one-liner!!!!!!!!!!

May his memory be a blessing.
love,
Janet and David

He used his art and writing to educate and inspire youth and adults alike. Despite physical challenges he remained active, writing books and inventing improved exercise equipment. He treasured his family, his wife Sharon, his sons Aaron and Lawrence, and his four grand daughters. I will very much miss our telephone conversations where he...
