David M. Berkowitz, 57, of Jefferson, Ohio, formerly of Austinburg, Ohio, a driver with Gil Swartz Distributors before his retirement, died unexpectedly at his residence on the morning of Wednesday, October 3, 2001. A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2001, 2-4 p.m., at Austinburg Township Hall, State Route 307 East, Austinburg. Cremation will take place at Care Group Cremation Center, Jefferson. Memorial donations are appreciated to Jefferson Emergency Rescue District, 96 East Jefferson Street, Jefferson, OH 44047. Arrangements entrusted to Fleming Funeral Home, Inc., Jefferson, Ohio.
