We met later on in life but, I had the privilege of being friends with Bernie for about 16 years. Bernie always wore a smile on his face and loved to make people laugh. I have so many great memories & I will miss him very much!!! I only regret not seeing him in about a year ~ before he left us (way too soon). David your Dad loved you and was so very proud of you and everything you did ~ his face would light up when he talked about you. My deepest sympathy to his family ~ God bless you.

I knew Bernie for many years both at work and play, sadley we have not seen each other very often in recent years. I have nothing but heartfelt happy memories. All that knew him will have a empty place left inside them. I didn't know of anyone who was more proud of his son (David).

I remember David as one of the nicest schoolmates of my daughter. As a teen, he was always quick with a smile and polite. I send my deepest sympathy to his family. May God bless them all.

It's seems like just yesterday working together. You will be missed by all your brothers. May God comfort those you have left behind.

Bernie,
I can't think of a time we were together that you and I weren't laughing hysterically. You made my life better. I'm proud to have called you my friend. Nothing made you happier then bragging about David, and see you in him. I'm always going to be grateful we met, no matter how much I miss you.

He was one of the nicest guys I had the chance to grow up with. High school is a hard place but Bernie made it really fun. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to see him often later on but he will always have a very special place in my memories. Sleep well old friend.
