Dear Terri,

I was Dave's next door neighbor for 15 years in Prospect Heights. I graduated from Wheeling High with his brother, Bob. I remember Dave as a bit of a daredevil on his mini-bike and having a few close calls with it.

One time he drove it into the passenger door of a moving car. He got right back up on the bike and smiled about it, showing no fear. Those of us watching were in awe of him from that point on. My thoughts are with you and your family.
