Dave was a fine engineer with high integrity, and he kept the work environment loose with his sharp wit. He was one of those people whose involvement made the whole greater than the sum of the parts. My deepest sympathies go out to Dave's family.

Dave was very kind to me when I began on a new Raytheon project. He was my go to person. He was very smart and level headed. His passing, at such a young age, is so sad. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. I know they love him deeply.

The news of Dave Bishop's passing is very disheartening. Since my retirement, when I think of Raytheon I mainly remember the wonderful people who worked with me on air traffic control automation. Dave was a person of high integrity and reliability and is among those whom I miss the most.

I worked with Dave for many years at Raytheon. We certainly missed him when he went out on medical leave and held out hope that he could kick this thing. The news of his passing brings tears to my eyes. He will be sorely missed.
