Not sure what to say?

Leona,

My mother, Mary, Ralph and I were so sorry to hear of David's passing. He was such a good friend and an unusually gifted individual as well. We both enjoyed good times with him, and his special interest and concern for Mary were greatly appreciated.

Our thoughts are with you.

Sincerely,
Jean Nuismer and Mary Clppinger

Leona,
It seems too long since I read David's obituary in the Trib. Both Joe and I want to send you our deepest sympathy. We know it was no surprise. Still,we have been so sad that such a bright and delightful man was reduced to such a sad state. Personally, I just loved the guy. It was such a joy to bump into him at every democratic convention/meeting. There was David smiling and wearing his blue buckled levis. We met him when he was fairly new to SLC at First Unitarian. ...

I was saddened to learn of Cousin David's passing. He was a fine man and I always looked up to him. I enjoyed it when he would swing through Oklahoma for a family visits and will miss the lively political discussions we had.

My prayers will be with you and the family.

I'm writing to tell you I'm thinking about you and am sorry for your loss. David was a remarkable man.

Wishing you peace, and sending you blessings and love
Sonja Chesley-Eernisse

Leona,

You and David were good neighbors to us in Old Farm, plus the times I shared supper with you, David was always complimentary for all your new dishes, and held up quite well to our bantering. Mick enjoyed swapping sea stories with David also, they had a bit in common, and both have the ability to make a short story longer.

Dear Leona,

You have our most sincere condolences.

Leona and family,
David was an extraordinary man the world is a better place because of him and we were honored to know him. We are sorry for your loss our thoughts are with you.

Leona: I was thinking so much of David while attending GA. last week- remembering how much he enjoyed the many, many that he attended. David was one of the first people I knew when I started attending First Church. I remember how hard he worked on single activities, long after you two were married. I also hold dear the dinner parties we attended together. I'll miss him very much. Steve Gillespie.
