Not sure what to say?

I miss my poppy! He was a special man that I am thankful to have had in my life. I will never forget him! I loved to listen to him humm in the barn and I'd say "Poppy, what are you humming?" And Poppy would say, "I make up my own songs." When I would sit on his lap in the evenigs that I stayed he would sing "Mona Lisa" to me! Poppy never minded having a house full of grandchildren. He always enjoyed having us there! Poppy would have done anything for anybody, family or not. Poppy never knew a...

I love my poppy he was always glad to see me and he liked all the stories my mom mom would tell him about me, Love you

I will always miss my Poppy. I've always known how lucky I've been to have such an amazing Grandfather. The memories I have will always make me smile, he helped create the best times for me and my siter on the farm. I love you Poppy! You are very missed!!!!

My fondest childhood memories have always been with my Best Friend Nancy on the farm. Mr. Blacklock was always there with a smile and a story or a joke for us. I will always remember his laugh and his sense of humor.

I will always love the way cows smell! Because of uncle Dave. His milk parlor
the mixture of Alloway water with iodine and milk in that giant vat that was always so shiny, he's a man that cared.Always there if needed for one and all Especially with family.

Good-bye Uncle

What I will remember most about Dave was his wisdom and wit. No one could tell a story the way that Dave Blacklock told a story and often there was a lesson of life in the story that he told. He was always a friend and always there to help a neighbor.
