Not sure what to say?

David Blankenship was a fellow law enforcement officer, great friend, and one of the best people I came to know in the profession; and in the area around Houston, Texas. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. David was a true credit to his chosen profession. It was my privilege to have known, and served my community along with David Blankenship. He was my friend; and he will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy and David's entire family. Laus Deo (Praise be to God)

I have known David for a number of years. I never expected to hear from a friend that he had died. He will definitely be missed. He always had a smile on his face and was there to talk to anyone with a problem or someone that just wanted to talk. He always gave me my time of day. My family and I are praying for you and your family. We will miss seeing him and his smiling face around the neighborhood.

David was a geniune good guy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

David was a wonderful friend. He will be truly missed. God Bless you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm sorry for your loss but know that he was loved and honored.

Dear Blankenship Family:
We are so sorry for your loss. Our family will lift you up in our prayers. David was a gentleman and a terrific role model in life and at Precint 4. He will be greatly missed by all.

Dear Blankenship Family
I’m very sorry for your loss. The Pct 4 family will morn the loss of not only a friend but also great leader in this department. As a young Deputy with Pct 4 I was assigned as a deputy under his command. He taught me a great deal as a deputy but also as a person. He will always be remembered as a deputy’s supervisor and a great friend.
