Not sure what to say?

Dave and I were roommates at the Univ of Michigan in 1971. And remained good friends for over 47 years. He and my other roommate from that time visited me in Illinois a year ago in October and had a great time. We talked frequently and told me about his daughter and sister. I told him I had 4 daughters and 6 grandaughters and that a daughter was a soft spot in a father's heart and he totally agreed. I will miss him very much and tell those close to him that he will still remain close, though...

Dave was a fantastic man, and I enjoyed our conversations very much at various Widetracker events. He had a keen wit and a dry sense of humour, and it was always fun working on the Tracker articles with him. We were shocked to hear the news of his passing, and he's left a void that will never be filled. We'll miss you, Dave, and our deepest condolences to the family.

I am a fellow member of the Widdetrackers with Dave .... what a truly nice man. He will be missed, and my condolences to Dave's family.

I remember fondly how much Dave enjoyed showing me around his shop and his car collection, his spare time pride and joy.

My favorite memory of Dave is when he brought his Pontiac hot rod out to Elba Township to take scouts from Boy Scout Troop 137, along with several other Widetrackers, to go get ice cream and show the boys what a hot rod can be. Dave beamed like a proud papa showing the boys around his car.

Dave was a gearhead through and through. I will miss him.

The staff of Davison High School sends our most sincere sympathies to Jennifer and her family on the loss of her dad. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are here to support you in whatever way is needed.
With Sympathy,

I worked with Dave at AC. He was an engineer who worked with the building trades and I was a tinsmith. He was a very good engineer and worked well with skilled trades. He also had some cool old cars. He was the secretary of the Buick Club for a couple of years. I enjoyed talking to him and he will be missed. My condolences to his loved ones.

Our sincere condolences to Dave's family and friends at his sudden passing. Dave has been a member of the Michigan Widetrackers since 2014 and has been an avid participate in club activities. Dave set up and administered our beautiful widetrackers.org website and shared his knowledge of computers in our "Tracker" publication. Our club members will miss him as will everyone who knew him.

We are so sad to hear of the loss of Dave. He was such a nice person and so incredibly knowledgeable about all computer related subjects. Our membership will be forever grateful to him for the technical advice and for bringing our club into the future with our Facebook page. We will miss his smile and friendship.
