Not sure what to say?

Happy 57th birthday (May 22, 2020), David. It's hard to believe it's been 17 years since you left us -- and far too young. Melanie has remarried, and your daughters are grown, but they are remembering you today with a lot of love and sadness. You are sorely missed by many.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of David Bloom. May God grant you strength, as you reflect on His promise to do away with sickness and death forever. (Isaiah 33;24 & 25:8). We all are looking forward to a time when death will be SWALLOWED up forever.

I had not trusted many or much in the news since my 5 yrs. during the Vietnam war. My wife and I are veterens, she is a disabled vet. We both would sit on the couch in the evenings and watch you guys roll on up the highway. I was off from a site change over at work. This allowed me a full month off to watch the tube and give the play by play over the phone to my wife. I blinked Dave and you were gone. Our hearts were broken. Like a story from the Bible in an instant you had been called home....

Oh! How I enjoyed watching you. And how your face lite up when you spoke of your wife and girls. Blessings to you and your family.

REMEMBERING HIM WITH SADNESS TODAY.REST IN PEACE DAVID.

Never will you be forgotten

We all enjoyed David's style of reporting. He was a friend to us, even though we never personally met him.

Our prayers are with you for the Lord to be close to you, offering comfort as you remember David. We both lost our fathers in 2007, Val on Sept. 10 - Elias Boccheciamp and Peter on Dec. 4 - George Schad. We are standing with you in prayer and our hearts are with yours for your loss. We have great hope and want to share these thoughts with you. We will pray for your family...

Still missing one of the GREATEST reporters ever.
May You rest in peace.

Remembering David Bloom today and his family. I was drawn to his life upon learning of his death. I was blessed to learn of his commitment to his family, his work, and to God. My prayer today is that his life will continue to speak to others about how we live our life is a testimony and strength to others.
