Polo Family Funeral Home Obituary

David was born on March 26, 1961 and passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. David was a resident of Polo, Illinois at the time of passing. A lifelong resident of Polo, David graduated from General Motors Institute with an engineering degree before changing careers to become an Illinois State Trooper. In lieu of flowers or a memorial contribution, we encourage you to do something that David enjoyed doing: pick up your phone to text or call a friend; rise earlier to appreciate the sunrise colors of a new morning; be grateful for the gift of music in the world; or go for a run on a beautiful day.

Not sure what to say?

I haven't seen David since 1978 when we were in High School together but I remember riding the bus with him. He liked to tease his sister Anne, my classmate, and I relentlessly. However, he was one of the most kind beautiful people I knew at that time. Such a kind soul that was instilled in him from his lovely parents and sister. My heart breaks for Anne. RIP David! You are needed in another world.

i was totally blown away when i saw this in the paper David was a friend to us in school and after school i know he loved his HARLEY and saw him quite a few times in past years . I'm sure all of his classmates will all
miss him. have a safe ride to heaven.

Our deepest sympathies to Dave's family and friends. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I am just devastated to hear of David's passing. I have many fond memories of him and his family. They showed me much love and respect. My heart hurts for Patha, Anne, and the family. Many prayers of comfort going up for you all!

This is heartbreaking. I have such good memories of David. He was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. My thoughts are with his family.

Words cannot express the deep heart felt loss of this out standing individual. Our paths crossed at times since our church years and school. Always acknowledge each other. My prayers for comfort for Anne, Eric, family and Patha.
