Dave was a good friend...in addition to working in motion picture business in support of the military he was a true movie fan. He always appreciated the Laurel & Hardy fan club newsletters I would forward to him and he would in-turn pass to friends in Europe. Holiday time would always be special when we all would descend upon Geraldine Dix and her family for great food and lively conversation...Dave would always provide an amusing slant on things. Dave...we will all miss you...hope you get to...

Dave was a close, personal friend of mine for over 30 years. He was always upbeat and had a great sense of humor. I made him a Baylor bear fan and he made me a Cleveland Indian fan. There's nothing he wouldn't do for you. I'm really going to miss him.
May his memory be eternal1
