Not sure what to say?

Dove, even though I do not have memories of David (I think may be we might have met once at a Christian Concert), but we share many memories growing up. I know we both share the loss of a father at an early age. I was only 3 when my father died, and I know about the struggles that my mother now tells me about her loss of a husband. We know that God has plans for everyone, and even during trials and disappointments that God is there guiding us along the way. He is the only one to comfort you...

Dearest Dove and Joy,
We have been praying for you, David and Joy and your whole family throughout your journey...The compassion we feel for you is so strong. ( I lost my father a year ago March 7th, who was my first love, so can relate somewhat...We had a 24 year journey with MS.) David, like my Daddy, are free of pain and discomort and we can rest in knowing that, as well as knowing he is in heaven, celebrating with Jesus. I will pray for you continually as you continue on this journey...

The love of my life--David. God, thank you for loaning him to me...we miss him! ~Dove & Joy

To David's Family: I went to high school with David and what I remember most is he wore flip flops and loved to surf. I wish that we all could have had more time with him. He will be greatly
missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Bobby Nash & Family

Dove,
Leah had mentioned seeing you and your baby girl in the waiting area at the GB emergency room last summer. I can only imagine your journey these last months. I am very sorry for your loss. My prayer for you and your Joy is God's loving arms around you both. Please call or drop by.
I would love to spend some time with you two. Jimmy and I both send our love and sympathy.

I didn't meet David, but am an old friend and former co-worker of his father at the Pensacola News Journal. My heart goes out to you, Gene, and to all who loved your son. The loss of a child is a sorrow we all hope to avoid in life, but may the love of friends and family carry you, Francis, and Elena and his siblings through this time of mourning his loss into a better time of just remembering his life and rejoicing in it. Meeting Dove at the visitation and seeing the pictures of her with...

I am so sad to hear the news of David's passing. I attended GBHS with him and he was always very friendly! My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God Bless you all.

We will remember Dave for his kindness, caring, giving and continual desire to always lend a hand or answer a question when it came to windsurfing -- and all other aspects of life. He was genuine, always positive, and someone you wanted to be around and emulate. God has taken one of the very best. The windsurfing community has lost a stellar, collosal, and distinguished young man. Condolences to his dear wife and beautiful baby girl.
