Not sure what to say?

I just recieved the latest edition of Loyola Magazine and was shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Steve and I were roommates for a year at Loyola and though we didn't keep in touch after college, his passing truly saddens me. Steve had the uncanny ability to make people laugh and always feel good. His light was warm and bright and will continue to shine in all that knew him. My deepest sympathies go to his family and friends. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will...

I am so sorry to hear about Steve's death. I was with much of the Charlottesville corrosion group for a wedding last month. We were just telling stories about how he didn't have a mean bone in his body.

Dear Bognaski Family,
Steve was one of the first--and finest--people I met at Perry Hall High School. His smile and laugh were larger than life. We were friends for a long time, catching up over school breaks and visits home to Perry Hall. Somehow we lost touch, and I deeply regret that I never got to meet Leslie, Natalie, and Ryan. What I know is that we are all so much better for having had Steve in our lives. My sincere sympathy goes out for your loss; it is truly a loss for all...

Dear Dave & Jane,
Words can not express how saddened we were to hear about Steven. May God continue to watch over you and your family always. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Heartfelt expressions of sympathy and prayers for comfort.

Dear Leslie,
I wish I could express to you how much Steve had impacted my life during our days at GMH. A sensitive man with a huge, giving heart. I am so sorry for your loss and I will truly miss him

Dear Leslie, Ryan, and Natalie,

I am a good friend of Julie Findlay's (was a Kappa at UNC with her and you). She has told me about your family over the past year and a half and what a wonderful addition to your neighborhood and the Findlay family you each have been. I'm so saddened to hear about the loss of Steve for you and for your entire family and your community. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Gretchen Feder Robbins

Dear Dr.Webb and family,
Lisa called to let me know of your loss. Needless to say, I was shocked. My prayers are with you and the children.

Leslie: We are all saddened to hear the news of Steve's untimely passing. You have our deepest sympathy.
