I grew up with David on Woodbine Ave in Knoxville. We spent our pre and early teens together playing Little League baseball on the same team, playing ping pong in our garage until midnight, delivering the morning paper together in the summers, playing golf at Whittle Springs, lifting weights in his back yard, listening to his 45 records, rolling yards, and generally having fun every day. I have nothing of fond memories of our time together.

DB will truly be missed! My heart aches for all his family. We spent time at his home around the holidays for the past 7 years. He always brought everyone together to celebrate. I'll never forget the Black Sharpie and Margaritas! R.I.P. Mr. Boles.
