Happy Birthday David. I deeply regret not being able to know you better, but I do see that you lived a good life. Rest in peace.

A few nights ago, I was laying in the fetal position, Isaiah was laying in my legs with his big Bompart head rested on my thigh, still trying to take it all in. It is always important to remember who we are and where we came from, especially during times like this that alter reality. Me? I am strong, brave, independent, and wise. I have been and will always be grateful to David, for paving the way for me to walk, run, and leap, to and through such important life lessons...Lessons which...

I had the pleasure of knowing Lump through music. I played drums now and then at the open mic, and played a few shows for Filthy Kleen. Lump was an excellent MC, and his rhymes were never shallow, but instead gave the listener something of substance to feed or challenge their mind. Through many conversations with him, I grew to respect his intellect and his thirst for knowledge, as well as his great sense of humor. I'm one of many who will miss him. May he rest in peace.
