Not sure what to say?

Best wishes for the Bookout family. Eventhough Book was disabled, he was one of the most enabling people I knew. He inspired me in ways I didn't even know at the time. At games, he and Julie Taylor Bookout were there to take pictures and have fun with the band. I know he loved his daughters Emily Michelle Bookout and Lauren Bookout very much, and they, along with his wife, were his world. We all will mourn him in the following days, but I believe that David wouldn't have wanted to have been...

Julie, I worked with David at 12th Street back in 83'-85'. We had fun there all the time. I only learned of his death yesterday. I lost my husband 22 years ago when my children were very young. I know how hard it is. Ask for God's strength each day and He will provide it. It will get better. Donna Rutherford Ratliff, Blountsville, AL

Julie and Girls,
I will miss David and his great stories along with that great laugh that I heard on every shift that I ever worked with him. By the way my favorite story was the Bull and the motorhome.

John I am sorry for your loss of your son.
I just learned today or I would have
been there.
Hope to see you at the reunion next year.

I'm so sorry for this another great loss to this dear family. But Heaven's gain! I didn't know David but he sounds to have been a wonderful young man and daddy. I pray you all find the comfort and peace he would want you to have with God. This has got to be very difficult for you all. I know you love the Lord and I pray you will lean on His loving arms. Let Him embrace you as no other can. My love to you all.

Go with GOD Book...will miss your storytellin and ZZ Top singin from the old days..prayers for your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Its been years since we have seen David, we graduated high school with David and have nothing but great memories of him. May God help you thru this time of loss.

Hope the fish are biting in Heaven David!! Till we meet again on the other side my friend!

Julie, I loved David and your whole family. I'm so glad our girls became friends in grade school because we gained a special friendship ourselves. You know I'm a phone call away whenever you need me.
I will miss hearing Book tell all his stories, but I think my favorite was when you hid his arm so he couldn't go hunting! I loved how you both told the story together. He is always gonna be in your heart and in all those crazy stories y'all were always telling. He loved you and the...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and all of David's many friends. He and I graduated high school together and I will always have fond memories of him. May God bless and watch over each of you as you deal with these difficult times during this loss.
