David Michael Bookout M.D.

I worked with Dr. Bookout on his educational activities for the 20 plus years I worked at Texas Health Presbyterian in the CME Department. He was a joy to work with. He was always so kind and accommodating. I left Presbyterian to work for another organization and occasionally I would check to see what some of my favorite doctors were up to. We moved to Dallas in Feb 1973 I was 7 months pregnant . On my first visit to Dr Bookout he ordered x-ray and told me we were having twins!!! He put me in bed rest til April 15. He delivered healthy twins in April 23. He was a caring and thorough Dr. He did surgery for me several times . I am grateful for Dr Bookout for his caring and brilliant care

Dr. Bookout was my doctor for over thirty years. He was the best!! He was a special man with a kind heart and I always knew I was in good hands. Thank you, Dr. Bookout for taking such good care of me and so many others!!

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Dr. Bookout was the most incredible doctor and support to Jeff & I throughout our infertility journey in the late 80's and early 90's. I will never forget his compassion and concern. I know he is in heaven rejoicing with the Lord and patiently waiting to be reunited with his bride, Betty. He always spoke so fondly of her and their scuba trips. Until we meet again...
