David Emory Booty Sr.

I met David when we started the first grade at Stephen J. Hay elementary school in the Oak Lawn area of North Dallas. David´s family moved to further away in North part of Dallas but we managed to meet a few times after their move, including my spending the weekend with him and his family on one occasion and him attending a weekend with our elementary class reunion. A dear friend.

David and I started the first grade together at S.J. Hay Elementary School in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas. The Bootys lived in the block adjacent to my family on Bowser street. I considered him one of my best friends. Sometime before high school his family moved further north in the county and we only saw each other a couple of times after that. David, Jack Chewning (who lived across the street from David ) spent a lot of time together until the Bootys moved north. With fond memories of...

David was loving, smart, funny, kind and remained my friend. He will be remembered in my heart always.

I have many a fond childhood memory of visiting with David Sr and his family. He was a sweet soul. My heart goes out to Mary, Julianne, Dave Jr, Chris, and all the family.
